The memorial is on the balcony of the station

Inscriptions read:
Dedicated to the memory of those from the Allied armies who gave their lives in the Battle of Waterloo.
"My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won."

This is an enlarged replica of the Waterloo Campaign Medal, given to all the Allied soldiers. The plaque was installed on behalf of the Waterloo 200 Charity by the London Mint Office Limited, on the 10th June 2015
