Inscription reads:
This stone was erected in 1955 in memory of Robert Smth, John Denley & Patrick Packingham, who were burnt at the stake on Lynch Green opposite
this spot in August 1555 and also of all those men and women of Uxbridge who have suffered persecution in their Christian faith.
